Gros Point Borders

top: 82" x 5.5", bottom: 28" x 5.5"
top: A little frayed and yellowed. Cut ends, engrelure added.
bottom: A little frayed, more yellowed. But ends, engrelure added.

Two sections of the same Gros Point border.  Simple irregular brides,patterned clothwork, sculptured cordonnets. The pattern is complete. Unsure if the lower border edge addition is original.   It is unusal to find complete pieces like these.
